Everest Base Camp, Cho La Pass and Gokyo Ri

The trek we chose with Massif was trekking from Lukla up to Everest Base Camp and then through Cho La Pass to Gokyo Ri. We had problems with the weather getting into Lukla airport but the guides at Massif arranged at a small additional cost helicopters so we could maintain our schedule. The trekking in the Everest region at altitude is not easy but the Massif guides and porters always kept a great momentum and sense of humour as we navigated the different routes and pointed out all of the different mountains on route. The knowledge of the team through ought the trip was excellent in terms of the geography, lodges, with many contacts in the Himalayas region. Would strongly recommend Massif if you are choosing a Nepalese adventure!!
